FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS There are several questions that we are frequently asked regarding our services. We will try to answer the most common but please e-mail us any other questions that you have at weddingdayflowers@yahoo.com. Q: When should I book my florist? A: You should place your deposit as soon as you have selected Wedding Day Flowers to hold your date. We require a 30% deposit of which $150.00 is non-refundable and the balance is due two weeks before the wedding. We try to book only one wedding or special event per day in order to better serve our clients. Q: Why a free-lance florist instead of a traditional flower shop? A: Service!! We feel that we can provide more personalized service and a better quality product without all the distractions of a shop. In addition, every flower purchased is hand picked for your event only. Q: Where do you work? A: We work from our residence in order to minimize the costs. We have coolers to ensure that your flowers are their freshest and all the amenities of a flower shop. Q: Should I bring anything to my consultation? A: Only if you want to. Some clients know exactly what they want and bring fabric swatches and pictures. If you do not have those, we have many photo albums. We can guide you through the consultation and give you a general idea of the flowers and the costs involved. Q: Where do consultations take place? A: Consultations usually take place at our home office location. We are available to meet the client off site also. Consultations last approximately an hour.
